"America is Worth Saving!"

Some people may say that there is no hope for America. They say we have gone too far away from God to be salvaged. Some would reason that we do not have the excellence of men and women in America that we had when we were founded. They would paint a very dim picture of America’s future.

While I would agree that we have drifted a long way, I am not ready to give up on America. I believe there is hope for America. That hope lies in people like you and me who are still holding on to God’s hand and asking Him for forgiveness and Revival. I believe that the hope of America lies within the Church of Jesus Christ and the ones who wear the name Christian.America may not be all that we would hope that it would be, but I believe that America is worth saving and worth giving our lives for.

Good men still exist. There are Churches that are still trying to spread the Gospel. In our nation there still exist great Christian homes and families. There are people still willing to fight for the freedoms and ideas that made us great. There are people who care about one another. America is still a good nation, but her strength is weakening because of moral decay from within. I believe America is worth saving.

The time is now. Gen. Douglas MacArthur said: “History fails to record a single precedent in which nations subject to moral decay have not passed into political and economic decline. There has been either a spiritual awakening to overcome the moral lapse or a progressive deterioration leading to ultimate national disaster.”

It is time that we turn back to God. We must echo the call, "Come back home America to the place that made you great - your trust in God."

America is a great nation, and we have been blessed abundantly by God. We have a great heritage with our nation being founded by men seeking to serve Christ. They believed so much in the freedoms and liberties that we take for granted that they gave up fortune, family, and even many gave up their lives. We have a nation worth saving, if it means giving our lives too.

I want to encourage you to personally renew your vow to be a great citizen of this great country. (The better Christians we are, the better citizens we will be.) The more we love God, the more we can help our children and neighbors and cities and towns and country to serve the Lord. I also encourage you to check on yourself personally. There is no use to grieve about the decline of the nation until you yourself turn to Christ, trust, and love and serve Him. There is no making of a godly America until we have godly individuals who have been washed in the blood and have taken Christ into their hearts by faith. I encourage you to pray for America and share the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

I believe with all my heart that America is worth saving!
